How to order, Payment options, Terms
All orders require a deposit of at least 50%.
Mail orders may use credit cards, cheque or mail order. (Make payable to ‘STAGEGEAR.’ Funds need to clear from cheques or money orders before order is processed. Allow one week).
Orders by phone or fax must use a credit card for deposit.
Orders received by mail or fax without a deposit cannot be processed and will be returned.
Order Confirmation
Please retain a copy of your original order. We will acknowledge your order within 48 hours of your funds clearing, and assign an order control number to it. If you do not receive your order confirmation within 10 days, call us. Check this confirmation against your original order and notify us at once if they do not agree. Make sure we have your current day phone number, mobile phone number and email address in case we need to contact you about your order.

Address changes, Forwarding
Please notify us at once by mail, fax or email if your postal or billing address changes or is not correct on your order confirmation. Additional postage charges will be incurred if orders need to be forwarded or resent.
Delivery Time
Delivery time is six weeks from the time we receive your order with deposit for items not in stock and two weeks for items in stock. We will advise your estimated delivery date with your confirmation. If we anticipate any problems, we’ll let you know right away. Early orders are shipped from stock.
Payment of Balance
If you choose to pay your balance by Credit card, your card will be charged when the goods are ready to be despatched from Sydney to you. If you choose to pay your balance by cheque or money order, the balance is payable within 72 hours of notification that goods are ready to post. If items are not paid for within 1 week, it will be assumed that the goods are not required and the deposit will be forfeited. Goods cannot be posted to you until balance of payment for goods and domestic postage has cleared. Please note it takes one week for cheques to clear. Returned cheques (bounced cheques) will incur a $25 charge.
Postage
Our catalogue includes easy to understand domestic postage charts to calculate postage from our Sydney offices to you.
Credit Cards
We accept VISA and MASTERCARD. Your account is charged upon receipt of your order. If your mailed or faxed credit card number is declined, you will need to provide another form of payment within 48 hours or your order will be cancelled. Make sure we have a phone number to reach you during the day.
Exchanges, Changes and Cancelations
Delivered costumes and accessories are not refundable. Requests for cancellations must be prior to garments being cut. Orders that have been cut cannot be cancelled. Requests for cancellations or changes to orders (i.e. sizes) must be in writing (fax, mail or email). We will respond within 48 hours, if you have not heard from us within 48 hours, please ring to confirm your message was received. We must charge $15.00/piece for each cancellation, change or exchange to your original order, plus new postage charges if required. Exchanges are considered a new order with corresponding delivery time. Exchanges are accepted for one week after receipt of goods.Exchanges must be for the same style and colour. Please note we cannot add to orders already in process, a new order needs to be placed for additional items. XLChild, XXLChild, XLAdult, and XXLAdult sizes are special orders and cannot be cancelled, exchanged or changed. If you need to exchange goods, fax, call or email for a return authorization number (RA#), valid for 7 days. Clearly write your RA# on your postage label. Replacement items cannot be posted until your original items have been received or replacement items have been paid for. Altered, worn or soiled items cannot be accepted under any circumstances. Any damaged goods or missing items must be reported within seven days of receipt.
Standard and Special Sizes
One price is charged for all standard sizes available - XSC, SC, MC, LC, SA, MA, LA. Special sizes are XLC, XXLC, XLA and XXLA. For XLC and XLA sizes add $10 per costume and for XXLC and XXLA add $20 per costume.
Custom Made Costumes, Color Changes and Larger Sizes
If you would like custom made costumes, or a set of costumes in a different colour or if you need a Child's costume made in Adult sizes please contact the office to discuss.
